What we study
​
Research in the lab is focused on understanding how biotic interactions and environmental variation drive natural selection, adaptive evolution and diversification. We primarily explore these topics using observational and experimental studies in arthropods and amphibians, and we use meta-analysis to evaluate the generality and predictability of empirical results. Currently we are especially interested in using cities as arenas to explore evolutionary questions.
